Breakthrough Cancer Research
Special Olympics Ireland
Childline ISPCC

Congratulations to Childline

Well done to everyone for taking part it’s been a very rewarding week. Countless good deeds have brightened peoples’ days all over Ireland, and a lot money has gone to three truly deserving charities.

All week people throughout Ireland have been doing good deeds in the name of their chosen charity. Countless cups of tea have been made, gardens watered, lifts given, bags of shopping carried – and best of all, funds raised.

This year Childline had the highest number of good deeds done on their behalf, which has generated €60,000 from the Electric Ireland Powering Kindness fund for them.

The good deeds done on behalf of Special Olympics Ireland and Breakthrough Cancer Research, generated €40,000 and €30,000 respectively.

When you do something good, it’s always rewarding – but even more so when it helps raise money for charity.

Human kindness is a truly powerful thing. Thanks to everyone for getting involved, you should feel very proud.
